Burke decor retailer rating8/3/2023 UPDATED REVIEW: After leaving my original review, two BD employees reached out within 18 hours to let me know that the manufacturer will not have the coffee table in stock until March. I discovered my item is back-ordered weeks later. I was not upset with the length of time it took to ship as we are facing a pandemic but they debited my account and never communicated. The item was packaged extremely well and arrived w/o damage. The driver called when he was 1/2 hour away. A delivery was scheduled for today, January 7 and gave me a window of arrival between 10 and 2. I contacted them and they verified shipment arrived Jan 4th. The delivery service contacted me by email when order arrived at destination. ![]() I was sent an updated tracking # and it linked to the company delivering. This company is not reputable and if this is not resolved I will contact the Better Business Bureau. The tracking links to Pilot Freight and they have no information. I later received a text that the item shipped with a tracking #. The rep said the item was in stock and would contact the warehouse. I contacted them by email and phone Dec 29/2020. They debited my account but item did not ship. The item did eventually arrive but unfortunately it wasn’t a very pleasant shopping experience and I still feel that the communication was extremely lacking, especially with such a delayed processing time. A few days after Christmas I received an email saying my order was still processing and would ship out in 2-3 business days, I replied asking to just cancel the order and asked for a refund, and again, received no further correspondence. I assumed I was scammed and replaced the item with another company. Christmas came around and by then I had sent 2 emails and left 2 voicemails with no replies. I know shipping can be slow around the holidays but I expected the company to at least ship the item or give me an order update before Christmas but I received nothing. I had ordered a wine carafe as a gift on 12/13/20 and received an order processing email right after. Edit: I have provided the order number for reference however the issue has been more or less resolved. ![]() Processing time was extremely delayed with zero communication and all efforts at contacting the company were unsuccessful.
